Biography
From the time she was a young child, Toni Marie 
aspired to perform. Born and raised in Fairfield County, CT, Toni Marie is no stranger to acting or the stage. As a teen, she performed in more than a dozen school and community youth productions. As a member of the first Young Professionals Apprentice Class at the Music Theater of Connecticut, where she studied Voice, Acting, and Dance for musical theatre, Toni Marie debuted in her first professional musical, Ebenezer at sixteen.
After earning her Bachelor’s of Arts in English with a concentration in Journalism, graduating cum laude, Toni Marie spent a number of years writing for marketing, news and advertising media, and lastly in the online realm, where she last worked as a Business Analyst with a Top 20 Internet Brand company.
In 2009, Toni Marie worked on several independent film projects, and wrapped her first independent feature film, “The Mercury Cycle”, as well as “Shadows Never Vanish”, which premiered at the SENE Film Festival in April 2010. In the past two years, she has also appeared in several local and national commercials, live performances/stage productions, and a short independent film. Toni Marie also participated in shooting a public service announcement for the Connecticut Film Industry’s support of current and ongoing state tax incentives.
Toni Marie is active in the growing Connecticut independent film community, and has studied acting with Reno Venturi at the Actors Gym in Hamden, CT. In addition to acting, she is currently writing scripts for web and short-film projects alongside her husband, Ken Villines, a longtime software engineer and interactive multi-media producer, and is currently writing scripts for a sitcom in development with outside parties.
